Personal

So, this blog will be personal. I will post photos of mine, write about my day, and maybe post poems. I need to start expressing myself more, because I feel dull and lifeless. Like right now, I am having trouble just thinking of what to type. This is for me and no one else. So whoever may read this, this is not to please you.

Let's Start Today

Even though Sunday was "ruined" by rain, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I met tons of new awesome people, but I guess that's what happens at most festivals.
Saturday was kind of a bust other than going to the after show at Red 7 and seeing Christ on Parade and Negative Approach. Never in my lifetime did I think I would see Negative Approach, but I did. And it was everything I expected it to be. It was nice being there surrounded by people who enjoy the same music you do.
Now yesterday I didn't think it was going to rain as long as it did, but I literally stood out in the rain for hours. I hope it showed the bands how bad everyone really wanted to see them. I was damp and cold. I'm surprised I'm not sick.
But all good things must come to an end and I ended the fest with Gorilla Biscuits. I was completely covered in mud. I guess that's what I get for being right on the stage the whole time.
Overall, this weekend was a blast and I wouldn't have changed a thing.

P.S. I definitely had the best vegan pizza I will probably ever have.

Farewell my friend.

My fish Neserus died today. I'll miss him watching Transformers with me. I'll miss him always creepin and staring at me all the time. I'll miss his attitude towards me before I put him in a tank. I'll miss gazing at his beauty. Neserus had character. He may just be a fish to you, but he was more to me.

State Fair

The Oklahoma State Fair can be fun if you make it fun. There's nothing else I have to say.

Fundraiser

I thought I was going to be preached to today by doing this Indian Taco Fundraiser at a church, but what I didn't realize was we were going to be, not in the church, but in the parking lot. Which was a lot better than I had expected it to be. It was really weird being in that church again though. I haven't stepped foot in there in eight years. I recognized some people, but their names had escaped me. Matowa Chipi (sp?) and I went to feed the ducks while everyone else was working on selling the indian tacos. She's the girl in the picture. The fund raised about three hundred dollars. Which was surprising since it rained all day. But I suppose good work and a lot of effort pays off. I hope we raise enough for Nunnie and her new liver.
